Jeff Kassel named
financial officer for
Jeff Kassel has been appointed financial officer for Columbia River Mental Health Services and will work with the senior management team at the Clark County non-profit mental health services agency. Kassel has over 30 years’ financial management experience. A graduate from Alfred University, Kassel earned a masters in business administration degree from Western New England College. Kassel is also a 2005 graduate of Leadership Clark County. CRMHS provides professional mental health treatment for schizophrenia, bi-polar condition, depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, individual and family therapy, and operates a methadone dispensing clinic and Hotel Hope in the Clark County Center for Health. Vancouver-based Techjet Imaging has named Dan Hansen vice president of operations, reports Don Bloodworth, Techjet president. Hansen joined the large format digital print provider on May 29. Hansen has over 15 years’ experience in the print and large format industry, including with Graphics Arts Center and Wy’east Color/Arscentia. Harrison headlines Producer, composer, arranger, singer-songwriter, concert pianist Michael Allen Harrison performs at a benefit concert for the School for Piano Technology for the Blind Thursday, June 14, in the Hilton Vancouver Washington. The piano hospital was founded in 1949 by Emil B. Fries. Also on the performance list is Vancouver concert pianist Barbara Roberts, as well as local piano students. County Bank of Clark County’s holding company, Clark County Bancorporation, has been ranked 25th in the nation by US Banker Magazine for multi-year income performance among banks with less than $1 billion in assets, reports bank chief executive officer Mike Worthy. Data for the list was compiled by SNL Financial and focused on the top 200 banks in the country for sustained levels of excellence as measured by return on equity. During the first half of 2007, the bank surpassed $350,000,000 in assets, and was selected by two regional business publications as among the fastest growing companies. The bank also has been selected several times since it was founded in 1999 as among the “Best Places to Work” by Washington CEO Magazine. News briefs The Vancouver Methodist Foundation has presented 13 $1,000 scholarships to the following Clark County high school graduates: Michelle Anderson, Evergreen High School; Royce Andrews, Brianna Butterfield, Emma Jeffries and Danielle Spaulding, all of Columbia River High School; Daniel Brown, Kristin Marini and Nicole Peterson, all of Battle Ground High School; Jessica Grange, Hockinson High School; Nathaniel Hardy, Hudson’s Bay High School; Kelsey Hollingshead, La Center High School; Anthony Steele, Central Catholic; and Alyssa Sperry, River Homelink.
