delivering from nearly From Juliano’s Pizzeria to Rib City Grill, Turbo Eats is delivering full meals to businesses and residences throughout the Vancouver area. Turbo Eats is the brain child of husband-and-wife team Mike Sarjeant and Alice Yang, whose goal is to deliver complete meals from restaurants that do not usually make deliveries. Business customers currently are the mainstay of the new enterprise. But at only $6.50 per delivery and no markup on the lunch or dinner it’s catching on with residential customers, too. Deliveries from 11 family restaurants are made between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays. For menus and further information, go to www.turboeats.com. Workforce

Last year the local workforce council provided training for 768 people and placed 1,020 local residents into jobs. $15 sports physicals Two separate organizations are offering school sports physicals for $15 each for students who need physicals to be cleared for playing school sports during the 2007-2008 school year.
