Tracy Fortmann, National Park Service superintendent of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site and one of the key players in the future of West Vancouver Barracks, was pictured along with Sen. Patty Murray, U.S. Rep. Brian Baird and Mayor Royce Pollard in Monday’s dailyinsider.info, but not identified. Our fault.

The occasion was delivery of the deed to the City of Vancouver for nearly 12 acres of West Vancouver Barracks from the U.S. Army.

The Vancouver National Historic Trust will oversee development of the west barracks area for the arts, education and tourism in collaboration with the city and the National Park Service.
