Rep. Jaime Herrera to hold tele-town hall meeting Thursday, two traditional town hall meetings Saturday

Rep. Jaime Herrera is inviting residents of the 18th District to participate in three town hall meetings she will be hosting this week.
From 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, Herrera will be holding a tele-town hall meeting. People can call in at 1-877-229-8493, and enter PIN number 15498, and listen in from the comfort of their own homes. Participants can also ask questions and take part in short polls.

Then on Saturday, Feb. 20, Rep. Herrera will be joined by her 18th District seatmates, Sen. Joe Zarelli and Rep. Ed Orcutt, in Woodland and Battle Ground for two traditional town hall meetings. The Woodland meeting will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Woodland Church of the Nazarene at 2000 Lewis River Road. The Battle Ground meeting will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Battle Ground City Hall at 109 SW First Street.

Herrera: “With the voter-approved taxpayer protection law[’s] being pushed aside, I know there is a lot of concern out there about what tax increases could mean for families and employers in our area. I share this concern, and want to hear from the citizens of Southwest Washington as we hit the homestretch of the legislative session I hope these events are convenient ways for people to share their views on the decisions in the legislature that will affect their communities.”

For questions, contact Herrera at 786-7850 or herrera.jaime@leg.wa.gov.
