Empower Up appoints three new board members
Empower Up announces the addition of three new members to their board of directors: Jim Lucey, controller at Linear Technology; Michael Parker, founder and director of marketing of Gravitate; and Lisa Schmidt, owner of Marketing Matters.
Empower Up is a reuse center located at 5000 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Suite E-101, that accepts donated computers and electronics from the public and businesses. Volunteer trainees refurbish computers that are then granted to families in need and nonprofits in Clark County. Empower Up’s programs are supported through retail sales in their thrift store and sales from their recycling operation.
