Promotional display space available
at Vancouver Community Library
Applications from individuals and
groups involved in educational, cultural, intellectual and charitable activities
who would like to promote those activities in the display case at the Vancouver
Community Library are being accepted through Monday, Sept. 27, reports library
spokesperson Mary Buelow. Political
promotions are prohibited, as is advertising for commercial purposes.
Buelow says an average 35,000 library
patrons pass by the display case each month. Ten one-month promotions are being
offered. According to Buelow, requests exceed space available; therefore, the
library conducts a lottery to determine who will be able to use the free space.
