Commissioners
seeking property-owner Clark County commissioners have scheduled two public meetings beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, and Wednesday, July 6, to hear specific requests from property owners for changes in the county’s Comprehensive Growth Management Plan. The growth plan was adopted last December but almost immediately became subject of appeals from the business community and environmentalists. Since commissioners have begun a process of amending the plan, the appeals from the business community have been dropped. Commissioners have unanimously indicated that their intent is to restructure the local plan to provide for greater job growth. Written comments can be sent to the Board of Clark County Commissioners, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666-5000, or emailed to boardcom@clark.wa.gov. Updates and additional information on the current Comprehensive Growth Management Plan review process can be found by going to www.clark.wa.gov/longrangeplan/review/index.html. ESD 112 gets
