Columbia River Crossing Project leasing
15,000 square feet in Vancouvercenter

The Columbia River Crossing Project has signed a five-year lease for the entire 15,000 square feet of the third floor of the north office tower of Vancouvercenter, 700 Washington Street. NAI-Norris Beggs & Simpson represented Vancouvercenter in the deal.

The Columbia River Crossing Project is charged with evaluating the potential expansion of capacity over the Interstate Bridge and with finding solutions to traffic congestion issues on both sides of the Columbia River. The three-year analysis began earlier this year.

The Columbia River Crossing Project is a collaboration of the Washington and Oregon Departments of Transportation, the Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council, METRO, C-TRAN and Tri-Met.

Approximately 50 agency and consultant employees assigned to the project will move into the space this fall.

Vancouvercenter currently offers 165,000 square feet of Class A office and retail space and is the largest urban development in Vancouver. In addition, the two square block space offers 194 apartments and 68 condominiums. Other commercial tenants in the new complex are Otak, Inc., Management Recruiters, Inc., Hilton Hotels and Rocketshop.

O. Howard House, 750 Anderson Street.

The design guidelines will establish standards to protect the cultural resources and the historic character of the National Historic Reserve. The standards will cover use and preservation of historic structures, lighting, parking, and landscaping.
