Boy, were we ever wrong

The Insider yesterday reported from a September 1 news release from the Port of Ridgefield that ground would be broken yesterday on a 30,000-square-foot, class A office building at the Ridgefield I-5 junction. We said construction had begun. Not so. Read in The Columbian this morning that the deal fell through. Port executive director Brent Grening confirmed today that the ground breaking was canceled and the proposed project has been set aside.

The Insider does not copy any news information from other news media. Rather, we rely on first-hand reporting and information from businesses and organizations for our reporting. But, as always, we have our own ways of making our own mistakes.
