Ann Warren elected chair of community television
board, which immediately launches mini-fund drive

Following the election of Vancouver business owner Ann Warren as chair of the Fort Vancouver Community Television board of directors and the appointment of new board members, marketing consultant Ronald Carr and media specialist Marc Kennedy, the board announced requests for public financial support in order to keep the community-based cable television channel on the air.

Nonprofit FVTV, Channel 11, is the only public television outlet in Clark County that provides training, equipment and facilities to produce local television programming.

“Financial donations are urgently needed to help maintain this valuable community service into the new year,” Warren says.

To keep the station on the air, the board is accepting donations as small as $10, according to Warren.
