Jerry Olson appointed to
Jerry Olson, president of Olson Engineering Inc., has been named to the board of directors of Riverview Community Bank and Riverview Bancorp, announces Riverview Bancorp chairman and CEO Pat Sheaffer. Olson, who founded his engineering and surveying company in 1968, recently was named “Pillar of Economic Development for the Last 20 Years” by the Columbia River Economic Development Council. Olson was also designated former Surveyor of the Year by the Land Surveyors Association of Washington. He is a charter member of the Responsible Growth Forum, and is a member of the CREDC and the Building Industry Association of SW Washington. Olson is a graduate of the University of Oregon and holds a masters degree in forest management from that institution. Riverview Community Bank, headquartered in Vancouver, has assets of $836 million and operates ten branches in Clark County and three in Oregon. Daria O’Neill to headline Daria O’Neill, comedian and host of KRSK, 105.1 FM, “the Buzz,” is the mistress of ceremonies for the 32nd annual Southwest Washington Forward Thrust Vancouver Auction and Art Gallery Saturday, April 14, in the Hilton Vancouver Washington. This year’s auction, dinner and dance is based on a Hollywood theme, which includes a red carpet and paparazzi, according to executive director Gabriela Laddusaw. Tickets are $150 each.
