Be careful, it’s hot and dangerous out there Watch for symptoms that include dizziness, fatigue, faintness, headache, pale, clammy skin, rapid week pulse and intense thirst. The onset of extremely hot weather this week is expected to cause an increase in the number of heat-related difficulties, especially among the very old and very young. Except for mild symptoms, call a doctor for advice and arrange for transportation to the hospital, Bell says. For further information, go to www.swmedicalcenter.org/heat.
